For one, the court has not decided if it will hear the case and it may choose not to. Secondly, the court sets precedent based on existing laws they DO NOT make the law themselves.

Supreme court is the ultimate decision maker and can change the tax laws. All the lower courts are impotent on that respect. This will be a historic case that can change transfer pricing rules ...more

No. Cameco has no where near 900 mil in liabilities with the CRA. Cco is close to a 5 year high. I need it lower to fill the shares I need and this spot issue may help my cause in the short term. 1-2 ...more
