They have more than enough money to fund the Bagassi expansion AND execute their buyback ! Dorward has no credibility and clearly doesn't care about his shareholders.

Even 100 k shares per month would have dented the enthusiasm of the shorters, bad decision in my book. The company should give more support to the share holders ! They did not.

Bagassi South uses cash to build. they probably wanted to conserve cash for it. after that capex drops and they will be swimming in cash to do buyback and anything they want.

They said they would invest in their own company via a share buy back scheme of up to 10 million shares but only bought 500 thousand ! Shorters went to town on the share. management could not give a ...more

If they can hit similar numbers at the 55 zone in 2019 and Bagassi comes on at 40koz/y that is about 170koz.  Even at $1,200 gold thats $200mm of revenue.  Subtract $75mm of production costs ...more
