24k really is a substantial number considering the "actual" public float.  Should be interesting to see what they do in May.  Maybe the day will come this year, who knows! :)

as always EVT buyback less active due to limited float. it was ELF's buyback was referring to. got 8200 in march and a whopping 16200 in april.  they are getting more daily as market ...more

you mean +/- 5 years. we are on ELF time! do believe when it occurs, will be a share exchange so unless there is a cash component for minority, won't be quite the $300NAV one might hope for ...more

the definition of "net investment income" includes realized capital gains so would seem they had some realized gains above and beyond dividend income. spend most of my time modelling ELF but ...more

actually my approach overly complicates matters. far simpler to just read financials... 2020 they earned 34.7mm of divs and paid out 29mm ($1.2/sh recurring and the $4 special - taxes being the ...more

worth noting that no reason they couldn't pay out more than just the divs received. after all ELF paid a large special from gains, not divs given EVT at nearly a 60% discount to true ELF adjusted ...more
