I'm rooting for the Treetards now

Oh heck, I'm about to get way overweight IFP it seems.   Hopefully we can get down to $25 at this rate, and I can sell off some oil and gold winners to get heavy on IFP.   ...more

RE:RE:Daily morning panic

This sell-off has been sector-wide for the past 3 weeks, likely after peak pricing. The interesting thing is that share prices never approached peak pricing valuations. Meanwhile IFP grows capacity by ...more

RE:Daily morning panic

You are correct, I always would only add to my position in the AM. But it's most likely retail investors shorting the morning and covering later in the day. It's like clockwork as this has ...more

Daily morning panic

Its just killing someone to be holding shares of Interfor overnight.  Every night they dream of $300 lumber, and every morning they wake up in a panic to sell some shares. It would be nice to ...more

RE:Can it holds gains?

No? Yes? Maybe? Price is perplexing to me. Fundamentals are there for a much higher price but selling is relentless. Market sector rotation?  Current price too tempting... had to add to my ...more

RE:Best lumber price range

If I knew that... We are in a situation like Oil when it left the $15-21 range of most of the 80's and 90's behind, unknown.   At the time $30 a barrel was absurd.  $40 was ...more

Best lumber price range

What would be the best lumber price range to maintain at the same time high lumber sales and high revenues to IFP ?

RE:RE:RE:RE:Stocks trading at 1 x EBITDA

Yeah I actually had to sell both CFFand WEF to get to 88%. In short I sold Conifex because of management and the excuses, and Western because their sales are mostly premium lumber but prices are ...more

RE:RE:RE:Stocks trading at 1 x EBITDA

Ifp at 88%, by my books, is reasonable. I was 120% in Conifex at one time and went from, um, affluent to much less affluent pretty quick circa 2018.  Cff is a far sketchier entity as you know ...more

RE:RE:Stocks trading at 1 x EBITDA

I agree mostly with your points as it is unwise to look at their low p/e multiple and their low EV/EBITDA multiple to think it it is a good buy. Low multiples suggest that we are at the top of the ...more

I think you've done a good job of summarizing the consensus opinion driving IFP's stock price right now.  I'd love to see a further correction down to $25, but that's the greedy ...more
