I hold Sienna in my non registered account as it is a stock and not classified as a REIT like Chartwell. As such Sienna benefits from the dividend tax credit wheras Chartwell does not. This doesn' ...more

Both will be profitable. I think SIA still has room to increase its MCAP, whereas CSH is getting to pre pandemic levels.  Sector I'm general is a winner, but I personally like SIAs share ...more

I wish sia had a drip, I don't need the divvy income right now.. I've had chartwell for probably 5 years adding 50 shares a month on the drip with a discount..

I own both and EXE as well. All are up. All paying distributions. All paid regularly during covid. All will continue to pay going forward with an opportunity for capital appreciation on top.
