the short position for mid march rose to just over 5 million shares. pretty much the highest it has been. going back to 2001, the short position has only exceeded 5 million shares 2 or so times. now ...more

Dividend will have to be cut before this stock is a bargain.  Allstream assets are a huge issue for MBT.  This is not  a good choice in the telco space.

somewhat and most likely over the next year or so. Otherwise, pension deficiencies like MBT will continue to build out of control. This is one reason why the Federal Reserve in the U.S. will increase ...more
