RE:ds trading at a discount again, but a positive NAV move up
Yes this is a good one along with LBS as you mentioned in your post on that one. Both are good to look at long term holds, tuck them away in your TFSA and just learn them earn you some nice steady

ds trading at a discount again, but a positive NAV move up
NAV to Feb 1 up at 7.32 after distributions, and made some moves up again today. NAV next month should be up closer to .06 after the last one was at .0553 per share. Great thing

DS holding up well, still just below NAV
Still trading at a bit of a discount by my estimates, but NAV sagging today.... Still didnt see the big selloffs like LBS and FFN saw yesterday.

DS NAV to JAN 18, 7.28 net of divvy
Quadravest updated the DS NAV today and one of the few out there that do that almost daily. Does not seem to help them get a premium to NAV, but it is likely the low yield that hurts.... Most

That's good info., did not know the Underwriters received a significant discount. I grabbed some right at the opening when it was around $8.48, I expected it to stay there all day, but it

RE:RE:DS difference
For sure DFN has been a steady eddy, and one of the best split funds in the Quadravest bunch. As is normal with these offering , they are done at just below market, and are shortsold immediately after

RE:DS difference
mouserman, spot on with your DS review. Have been in DFN since 2010, it just keeps cranking out the Divy's and days like yesterday when it dips after the offering are good opportunities to top up.

RE:RE:RE:HSE giving some back today, but NAV up more
YellowBrickRoad, as always appreciate the words of wisdom and the analysis. These Variable Rate funds are nice balance of Risk/Reward, they certainly are more suited to my investment style.

DS difference
Unlike BK and others who are in split funds, with DS the NAV is based only on the portfolio , and is not a UNIT NAV that includes the value of preferreds shares. SO the NAV does climb more slowly for

RE:RE:HSE giving some back today, but NAV up more
The Quadravest funds that have a variable rate (10% of price) certainly do not have the drama and the sky high yield, but they are steady payers. The splits of BK and PDV and single units of DS

Here's hoping for that outcome, I agree this early year rally has people back on the greed side of the ledger, the small Divvy's just don't seem that attractive for those wanting to hit

RE:Nie jump in NAV again today
This is a nice little gem , Feb. Divvy a little squeezed due to low SP in December, but it will work its way back up. It does not get much action, but it does not have the heartache either!!!
