Scotia iTrade fee is 9.99 so it was less expensive to take the drip than to buy in with cash.

Effect of Dilution on Preferred virtually non-existence

RB Advantages 1 - no trading fees, no spread. 2 - stock is sometimes discounted to the VWAP 3 - compounding 4 - automated Disadvantages 1 - may need income 2 - can hamper diversification
