last year, in late feb, TBL was halted for news on a special DIVIDEND -a day or so before year end results were released..WILL IT HAPPEN AGAIN?? stock up nicely, including today (16 cents ...more

GREAT BNN extended interview on lumber..

10.40 ish to 10.49 EST today with ANDY (suprised it didn't take place on COMMODITEES..however ,play it back as its very informative.. GREAT NEWS - lumber contracts expected to trade on average ...more

 ...IMHO, there is 2 destinies for TBL - either being taken PRIVATE or sold -  the major shareholder has gone thru alot of trouble acquiring 70%+ of the shares.the relative costs to keep ...more

with over 50 Million in cash saved I think they would have done that by now. I'm guessing they're looking more at an aquisition, or even to buy a ton of lumber when prices return closer to pre ...more

I agree that there is something seriously wrong with this company as an investment. I foolishly bought a small bit without doing due diligence beyond looking at ratios. You would think that a P/E of 2 ...more

cme lumber futures now above $900...

CME lumber futures have recovered off of Q3 lows to now above $900 - this is the highest price since june and will hopefully make for a much better year end results.. PS a pressure treated 2x10 10 ft ...more

Eventhough I believe TBL is significantly undervalued, I sold my holdings on Friday. Quite simply, there's something seriously wrong with a company that makes consistent profits .. as in $137.6 M ...more

Often wondered why Taiga didn't book an inventory writedown in 2nd Q when they had significant earnings to apply it against. Instead, they booked $13.4 M in 3rd Q resulting in the $5 M loss. Real ...more
