The problem with ARG is that they generate cash precisely when their stock is at its highest.  As a result, they buy back at the peak valuations and do not repurchase shares at the trough.  ...more

when they are issued on a lower share count. i.e you buy back 1/3 of your shares and a 10% dividend turns into a 15% dividend. Buy back is a no brainer vs special dividend it you understand basic math ...more

If copper stay in the $4.50 range we are basically an ATM spitting out cash with low capital costs. My guess is that there would be special dividends paid out in the future as well as a reduction the ...more

Very nice run.  If copper stays strong, price could run further.  ARG ought to be able to make bags full of money at this copper price.

It is not disturbing and in my opinion this was all related to the flooding that occurred. I think they explained it in the last quarter's report. They even said there would be some carry over ...more
