Pages 14 and 15 of the latest quarter financials presentation is in part what explains what is currently "wrong" with BCE. They announced a significant reduction in EPS and FCF from 2023 ...more

BCE has Lowest P/E Ratio of Major 3 Canadian Telecoms...

Rogers has a P/E ratio of 35.35. Telus has a P/E ratio of 38.29. BCE has a P/E ratio of 20.

Then you should put a bid in at $40.  Why announce it to the board?   Why not put a bid in at $25?  Not sure why you're limiting yourself. I bought 1k more shares at $46.23 ...more

Tempted

I placed a bid at $46.25 this morning then cancelled when I saw the overall market. The way things are going we could see this hit $40. Ugly even for long term holders.

You expect to make money in the stock market without knowing any of the pros and cons?  You should've bought some Puts, or buy some cash ETFs and then move to Cuba or N. Korea.

Bottom of Bollinger Band is Currently $47.32

Current share price is way below the bottom of the Bollinger Band. It should begin to recover tomorrow with some luck, and if short interest has declined today.

I added today low $46 level. Today I'm adding for the gains and not just for the Dividend. BCE is down 30% from its 52 week high of $65.66. At $65.66 BCE is paying out an annual Yield of 6 ...more

RE:Short covering start TODAY

Gotta admit, it looks awfully tempting to add at these prices right now C$46.22, with an 8.17% div yield--options look attractive.  This SP is now down below Mar. 2020 levels.
