RE: Globe

RE: GlobeHere's what was in the globe... kind of an oddball story. Globe says Lake Shore, other gold juniors set to fly 2005-12-19 05:10 ET - In the News Shares issued 80,602,530 LSG Close 2005-12-16 C$ 1.89 Also In the News (C-CGK) Gold Hawk Resources Inc Also In the News (C-GCU) Gold Canyon Resources Inc The Globe and Mail reports in its Saturday, Dec. 17, edition there is a strong recovery occurring in resources and technology. The Globe's Ira Gluskin writes in the Buy Side column that inevitably investors in these areas will lose much money. Mr. Gluskin says he cannot argue that investors should not speculate at times in these sectors. He says he is guilty of speculating the odd time himself. He says he has done so without any great success. Do not bet the whole ranch is Mr. Gluskin's only piece of advice. Mr. Gluskin says it is apparent to him that we are close to an explosion of interest in junior gold mining issues. Mr. Gluskin says the slightest exploration success from anyone and anywhere and the market will go crazy. He says the good news is that commentators will then have the gold sector to worry about instead of income trusts. Mr. Gluskin says he has grown tired of talking about income trusts because the story is unchanging. He says he does not like telling the same story over and over again in his speeches and interviews. He says trusts look good for now, but the government is not your friend when it comes to trust regulation.
