Up and Coming Cortez Play

Sleeper Project:

Through an extensive program of geophysics, geochemistry, satellite imagery, surface sampling, initial drilling, analysis of data from earlier operations, and state-of-the-art three-dimensional modeling. - X-Cal has identified over forty targets throughout the Sleeper district: - Each target has the potential to host a deposit of at least one million ounces. - Several of the targets combine key characteristics of Sleeper and other major Nevada gold deposits. - X-Cal’s work provides substantial evidence that the Sleeper ore body was not fully exploited and may well be just one of a cluster of deposits in the district. The gold grades encountered at Sleeper indicate that new discoveries are likely to be commercially attractive in any sustainable gold price environment. The land position is of sufficient size that it could host several major gold deposits X-Cal owns 100% of the Mill Creek property, northwest of the Placer/Kennecott Pipeline gold mine. Mill Creek appears to be a key exploration-for-reserve-replacement property. X-Cal is in current discussion with Placer Dome regarding this property. Major mining companies have expanded production through acquisition. It is believed that their focus will switch to reserve replacement. Nevada properties such as Sleeper and Mill Creek are important potential sources of new reserves. X-Cal's crown jewel is the Sleeper Gold Mine in the northern Battle Mountain Eureka Trend area (well north of Interstate 80 on the other side of the Cortez Trend). The XCL/NWS 50/50 Sleepr Project has the distinct Potential to be the source of a major Gold reserve replacement play for both high grade and high tonnage. Of the currently active district exploration plays in Nevada, the Sleeper Mine district is the one having the highest potential for major success. In Nevada, major exploration programs are soon set to get underway in 2006. Stay Tuned X-Cal's crown jewel is the Sleeper Gold Mine in the northern Battle Mountain Eureka Trend area (well north of Interstate 80 on the other side of the Cortez Trend). Ready to advance exploration Projects in Nevada during 2006.
