Another day, another...

Another day, another...few hundred bowls of soup. I arrived at the GCSC today at about 12:15 and stayed until 2:30. They managed to keep the place at an average capacity of 75% the entire time I was there. If I said I was impressed before, I'm absolutely thrilled now. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN DONE ANY ADVERTISING/PROMOTING YET!!! Can you tell I'm excited? When I first visited this "soupery" a couple of weeks ago, I arrived at about 2PM and there were only a couple of other people in the store with a slow, intermittent flow of customers coming in, most of which were take out. My second visit took place the following week at about 1:45PM. About 6 tables were occupied and there was a slow, steady flow of customers. However, today at 2:30PM the restaurant was still half full and there was a steady flow of customers still coming in. Also, Jerry Janik and Carol Rampling were both there discussing business (over lunch, of course) but took a few minutes out to welcome me. Nice people! I stopped by The Atrium on Bay to get a sneak preview of what's to come. I found out that there's an entirely new food court opening up. Unfortunately, the sites were still boarded up so there wasn't much to see except the actual location, which, IMO, is going to be another high traffic area for GCSC. Interesting though, it seems to me that Heritage may have more going on at this location than meets the eye. I'm looking forward to the next couple of months. Should prove to be very exciting, and, if all goes well, very profitable - IMO. All the Best Marty P
