RE: I'am a little ticked
RE: I'am a little tickedI agree, it is a little more than puzzling that their marketing zealots are about a active as a beer vender at an AA convention. There have been other alt energy companies that have less to offer that are marketing their products and get more investor exposure. I am not asking AZD to fluff their product but, jeez, at least tell your story to the audience. It reminds me of the Elections Canada add to encourage young people to vote. Shows a young man getting the opportunity to address an audience and when he gets to the podium he stands their with a stunned look on his face and nothing to say. They have a product and by all appearances, should be pretty easy sell to an audience, particularly with oil high and rising. I agree, Deeday, that oil will not again see the south side of $50. I have been saying for over a year that oil will likely see a floor of $70 before this year is out. I mean, with such a mild winter and oil still in mid $60's it is not a stretch if we get a hot summer and a normal winter nexr year. If we get a colder than normal winter, all bets are off. There is another market which they haven't addressed but could be a huge benefactor of their technology and that is the transport trucks. I live in an area where truck hauling is a major industry, particularly logging trucks. Their major issue these days is fuel costs and it bumps right through the system and a continual sore point in contract issues. Any opportunity top shave these costs wopuld be, I beleive, welcomed by the industry. It is getting somewhat frustrating to see the share price so comatose when their are opportunities to enhance it. Even some updates on upcoming contract opportunities would be welcome. Grumpy indicates he bought at $1.22 a few years ago. This share price shold be doing much better at this point given the progress the compasny has made since he bought. I have only owned this for a little over a year and intend to hold it for the long term but if AZD wants to mature as a company they need to show shareholders why they should hang on to their shares. I think what we are seeing is either people day trading or short terming this stock or slowly getting out of it all together. Enerman is a good example of someone who has seen a better opportunity and has moved on. AZD has to look at the "opportunity cost" that investors have and have to show that AZD is the "best opportunity". So far they are failing to do that. End of rant!!!
