Dukeman RE: Red LakeAfter checking, the samples in question returned from Red Lake's Teihsum River pty in B.C 28.71% copper,46.6g/ton silver and 0.53g/ton gold... not 53g/ton gold.
From the press release in April 2005:
Two new mineral claims were staked near Iron Lake during the recent field exploration program in the Merry Widow Mining Camp. The new claims cover an area of copper-rich mineralization in basalt flows of the Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation. Multiple layers and veins of chalcocite with malachite and cuprite from 10 to 25 cm in thickness occur in a 50m by 5m outcrop area along a new logging road. A 25-cm thick section of vein was assayed and returned 28.71% copper, 46.6 g/t silver and 0.53 g/t gold. Additional channel sampling, hand trenching and geological mapping are planned.
