"I just got off the phone with Sherry Creamer, (403 215 9263) of Sterling Resources Calgary, and she confirmed that the Sedco 712 Rig will not be drilling Tay(Constance). I pointed out that was contrary to their Jan 10 NR and when I asked her if an updated news release will be issued she said theis news is just hours old and wasn't sure what action would be taken. She confirmed that it would be the Bredford Dolphin that would drill the well and that it would be in March. I forgot to ask the exact date but I know from Oilexco's recent news release that the Bredford is contracted for late March/early April. So I guess we wait! "
I interperted Sherry Creamer's response, "this news is just hours old" and "wasn't sure what action would be taken" to mean that it was in fact "news" to Slg and that is why she wasn't sure what action was going to be taken. I suspect Oilexco made the decision, gave the orders to move the rig and let Slg ask questions about it later the next day. Disraeli may be the preferred target, but as I have asked before, why were we bumped? Why is Disraeli not being drilled now?
