RE: Question
RE: QuestionMy only observation about timing, is that because of the nature of MP's technology, MP's pilots programs are not long in duration. Since, MP is involved in several pilot programs, and assuming that they go well, as they have to this point, I'm hoping that we won't have to wait long before we start seeing commercial contracts of significance. Anything more specific than that would be pure speculation on my part. The great thing about the company is that all the possibilities you mention are "real" possibilities. And it does seem that MP is dealing with some significant companies.
There is much more to the attractiveness of MP products than "merely" significant savings on electricity during a period of high energy costs. Extending the grid to supply electricity for growing demand is an extremely costly proposition for electrric utilitiy companies. I can't quantify the savings of extenting the existing grid 10% further, without the costs of the infrastructrure, but it is extremely high. And grids has to be extended if for no other reason than population growth. For this reason, I can see MP being attractive in international markets. Asia electrical supply is seriously stained.
MP's products are brilliant and if the pilots keep proving out, it will be extremely successful.
