Eloro announces Exploration program

Eloro announces Exploration programEloro to Commence Exploration Program on its Hurdman Zinc Silver Property 11:24 EST Thursday, February 09, 2006 TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 9, 2006) - (Not for dissemination in the United States of America.) Eloro Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:ELO) ("Eloro" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has commenced its continuing exploration program on the Company's wholly owned Hurdman zinc/silver project located in northern Ontario. The project area is located in Hurdman Township, 25 km north of Smoothrock Falls and covers 6,624 hectares; Smoothrock Falls is approximately 110 km by paved highway from Falconbridge Inc.'s metallurgical complex in Timmins, Ontario. The known mineralization on the property consists of disseminated sulphides (pyrite-pyrrhotite-sphalerite) hosted within biotite-sillimanite-quartz gneisses of probable intermediate to felsic volcano-sedimentary origin. These rocks have similarities to those of the Manitouwadge greenstone belt of central Ontario. Some mineralized sections can contain up to 80% massive sulphides and assay results of up to 15.30% Zn (zinc) and 62.7 g Ag/t (silver) over 0.55 m and 3.00% Zn (zinc) and 12.12 g Ag/t (silver) over 23.60 m have been reported in previous drilling by Eloro (see Company press release dated March 31, 2005). The preceding widths should not be construed as being true widths. To date, the mineralization has been outlined over an east-northeast strike length of 300 m and to a depth of 125 m; the mineralized zone has a very shallow dip of 15 - 20 degrees to the north. The current program, which will consist of mise-a-la-masse induced polarization surveying and 1,000 m of follow-up diamond drilling, is planned to further extend the known mineralization along strike and down-dip. Results of the program will be made available at its conclusion. This press release has been prepared under the supervision of John M. Siriunas, P.Eng., a qualified person under the guidelines of National Instrument 43-101. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Eloro Resources Ltd. Mr. Thomas G.
