USA Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other related activities within the United States. Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

EnCana Corporation (TSX, NYSE: ECA) has closed the previously-announced sale of all of its oil and pipeline interests in Ecuador to Andes Petroleum Company, a joint venture of Chinese petroleum companies, for approximately US$1.42 billion More cash for share repurchases and maybe even a small dividend increase. No problem, BT I even bought mroe today in the 45's. cheers and GLA
