(TSX: PTI) today announced the appointment of Mr. Douglas L. Ludwig to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice-President. Mr. Rodger Roden has left the Company today to pursue other interests. Mr. Ludwig is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of finance experience. Most recently, Mr. Ludwig served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice-President of Four Seasons Hotels Inc. Mr. Ludwig's 22-year career with Four Seasons covered many key positions within the corporate finance organization. Previously, Mr. Ludwig worked with KPMG for seven years after graduating from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. In his new position at Patheon, Mr. Ludwig will report to Mr. Tedford, Chief Executive Officer. "Doug will assume full responsibility for the financial affairs of the company and communications with the financial community and related responsibilities," said Mr. Tedford.
