Ivana acquiring 81% interest in Chinese coal project Ivana Ventures Inc (TSX-V:ANA) Shares Issued 17,112,149 Last Close 3/8/2006 $1.16 Wednesday March 08 2006 - Property Agreement The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing a co-operative joint venture contract, dated Sept. 9, 2005, between the company and Xinjiang Bureau of Coal Field Geology (XBCFG), pursuant to which the company has the option to acquire an 81-per-cent interest in a 23.4-square-kilometre coal project in the Xinjiang autonomous region of China, which will be reduced to a 62-per-cent interest after recovery of all investment capital and deemed interest. The company's work commitment under the JV agreement is $2,495,000 (U.S.), to be incurred within the first year. Finder's fee: A finder's fee of $100,000 cash and 238,625 common shares of the company is payable to Pat Vasireddi in connection with the Xinjiang coal project acquisition.
