RE: The bottom lineHi barrymore,
Pls. give me a break from this 'my IR could could have taken us to dizzying heights stuff'. Great that your two friends or acquaintances worked for and helped to promote those companies, but I think it may also have something to do with what the companies did/do?!!
Not saying this is the case (spare me the details I don't really care), a lot of venture stories are just that, stories. They'll make you money w/ the volatility and if you're lucky you're on the right side and you'll get out in time. You may make money, you may not. Pat isn't the kind of company that buys moose pasture, promotes it and all the while the insiders are distributing making a killing. (UMJ - Do you think Kores is that dumb, with all the venture companies out there, that they are going to partner w/ people w/out integrity?)
Right now Pat doesn't seem to have that home run factor some others have and that explains the steady rise you complain about vs. the bigger RISk/return of pure exploration plays. Be clear and you know this, these guys are not in here to be fly by night operators. This company will be here and producing and generating c/flo and profits for many years to come. A good no. high fliers with higher market caps would have gone to shell and been reincarnated in that time frame; their shareholders who were going for the home run will wish they had just been a little less greedy and had found or sicked w/ Pat.
Besides I know they are looking for more opportunities; that there is exploration potential on their props and milling expansion potential.
