Essential Functions:
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales cycle for Versatile software products, consulting services and partner products and services. The Senior Account Executive must penetrate and develop major accounts and new prospects within assigned territory, perform sales presentations, negotiate contracts and close new business deals. The Senior Account Executive is also for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Marginal Functions:
Experience with IT consulting and Services sales
Required Knowledge:
Must have 10+ years of solid IT sales experience.Must have strong business development, technical and presentation skills.Must have substantial successful experience developing leads, marketing and selling B2B enterprise computer software. Must have a proven track record of closing sales of high-end, complex, enterprise software to businesses and/or governmental agencies. Must have excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to present technical concepts and business solutions clearly through demonstrations and proposals.Must have outstanding organizational skills.Must have outstanding prospecting skills.Must have ability to interact with all levels within an organization.Must have executive contact experience.Must have excellent understanding of Enterprise Applications, Operating Systems, and Application Software.Must be a self-motivated person who can problem solve and work with little direction.Must be willing to travel
Preferred Knowledge:
Knowledge of IT sales cycle with new and existing customers within assigned territory.Deliver sales presentations.Identify key decision-makers and build strong relationships with customer.Work closely with pre-sales technical support team to determine customer requirements.Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota.Assists management with developing sales plans and strategies, building and maintaining a sales pipeline.
Years Of Experience:
10 years of outside sales with a proven track record of sales success and customer satisifaction.
