My thoughts

My thoughtsOverall, I am very pleased with what transpired this week in terms of the share price, volume and news, but I am not that impressed with the fact that the private placement was increased in size by 20% or 1 million shares. If it had said in the original news release that the offering was expandable then I would have no problem with this. The problem is that there were probably shares being sold yesterday for as high as $0.80 and being replaced with $0.50 shares plus half a warrant. Those that take advantage of this knowledge make huge one day profits at the expense of those who are buying the $0.80 shares. If the share price keeps going up, then everyone is happy, but if it goes down then these new shareholders have been fleeced. It’s the way the game is played, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t stink! Well, that was my Saturday morning rant. On the brighter side I am glad that the financing situation is settled for the foreseeable future and Amerix can get on with what will truly decide the value of this company. Dotchaser, as far as your numbers go, they are as good as any at this point. I, however, think that by the time this company is ready to be sold the price of gold will be substantially higher. I also think that if this becomes a 5 million ounce deposit there will be a substantial premium placed on a deposit of that magnitude. A premium would also be attached to the tailings if they prove to be a significant resource. Now that we have the cash (or more accurately, will have the cash when the financing closes) we will at least be able to find out the answers to these questions. Now back to impatiently waiting for the very late 43-101 resource estimate.
