Iran tests another missile.

Iran tests another missile.Iran tests another missile Wednesday 05 April 2006, 21:05 Makka Time, 18:05 GMT Iran has been on a missile testing spree since Friday Iran says it has successfully tested a 'top secret' missile, the third within a week. State-run television on Wednesday called the missile an "ultra-horizon" weapon and said it could be fired from all military helicopters and jet fighters. A brief video clip showed the missile, fired from a helicopter, hitting a surface target on water. Iran has been holding war games off its coast since Friday. The television said the new missile does not require the OTHT (over the horizon targeting) system that other missiles need to maximise their range. Iran is the first country to develop such a missile, it said. Wednesday's test follows that of two other missiles and two torpedoes since Friday. Iran said the Fajr-3, a missile it tested on Friday, can avoid radars and hit several targets simultaneously using multiple warheads. On Tuesday it tested a second "radar-avoiding" surface-to-sea missile designed to sink ships.
