One of this companies problkesm in the psast was spending too much time and money developing new products for new markets, rather than marketing existing products, eg carwash, solvents for processing tar sands etc. They have a good portfolio of products already, they need to prove they can sell them, products should no more than tweaking or line extending if demand requires it.
