BOGA, CA JOINS MOSQUITO AS DIRECTOR AND CFO Vancouver BC – April 18th, 2006 – Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Limited (MSQ.V-TSX-V) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ickbal Boga, CA as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and will be appointed to the Board of Directors. Mr. Boga replaces Mr. Jefferies as the Company’s CFO. Mr. Jefferies will continue in the capacity as the Company’s Corporate Secretary and Director. Mr. Boga obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from University of London, England and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from University of Windsor, Canada. Mr. Boga is a Chartered Accountant with extensive practice experience, mainly with public companies listed on Canadian stock exchanges and he is the former auditor of the Company. Since 1994, Mr. Boga has acted as a director, CFO and Corporate Secretary of Kakanda Development Corp, a mineral exploration company. From 2004 to present, he has acted as a director, CFO and Corporate Secretary of CZM Capital Corp., a mineral exploration company. Mr. Boga was founder, director and officer of various companies listed on TSX Venture Exchange. Previously he held senior financial with ; positions with various organizations and was senior accountant with KPMG. The addition of Mr. Boga to the team will provide the Company with extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, acquisitions, financial reporting, corporate governance and accounting.
