Piedmont moving to higher stock exchangePiedmont to become a fully reporting company
As stated in its recent press release, Piedmont is in the process of becoming a fully reporting company. When this process is completed the stock will trade on a higher exchange. Liquidity should improve remarkably because there are many funds and investors who cannot purchase stocks which are only trading on the pink sheets. The stock price has held up well without much liquidity. An exchange listing should improve visibility. Any new buying is likely to lift the stock price higher. Also, during this time the company will be in a "quiet period" due to SEC regulations. This doesn't mean the company is doing nothing. Instead, it means the company cannot report progress so it has to "sit on" news until after it is trading on an exchange. Obviously the company is putting to use its private placement proceeds so there will be a lot of developments, drill programs, etc.
