tryed to get and idea of were we are going
tryed to get and idea of were we are goinghere is a response to a question that I posed in an email to see if I could get an idea of were we go from here. any new ivestors might be able to view this and use it for an idea of were we are.
Thank you for your recent enquiry about Atna through our website. Atna has succeeded in discovering a high grade ore body at Pinson and presently has a 70 % interest in the property. Under the terms of our agreement with Barrick, they must spend US$30 million on the property on our behalf if they are to increase their interest to 70% (thereby reducing Atna to a 30% interest). Clearly, they would be unlikely to spend this amount of money unless they thought there was a good chance to find a much larger and richer ore body that would meet the size criteria and threshold for a company of their size.
What does this mean for Atna and for you as a shareholder?
1) Almost certainty that a substantial cash flow will accrue to Atna within 3 years and possibly sooner.
2) No further investment required from Atna to achieve the cash flow.
3) Don’t forget the 10% royalty on the Wolverine deposit, which should get financed and into production in this metal price environment…additional near term cash flow (less than 3 years).
4) Atna has an excellent team with proven credibility and a strong treasury to focus on the next stage of growth for the company. This will be achieved through continued exploration of the Nevada properties and through an aggressive pursuit of merger and acquisition opportunities.
In summary, Atna is poised for further growth and will continue pursuing the successful strategy that has increased shareholder value ten fold over the past several years.
