VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, May 15, 2006 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) -- E.S.I. Environmental Sensors Inc. ("ESI", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ESV) is pleased to announce that the Company has been undertaking a demonstration and evaluation of its Flo.Point product with EnCana (www.EnCana.com). EnCana is among the largest holders of oil and gas properties in North America. ESI staff has been involved with the project over several months at an EnCana heavy oil production facility in Alberta. The trial project included installation and testing of the Flo.Point instrument in a heavy oil application with hydrocarbon to water ratio of 60/40. The successful test has resulted in ESI receiving its first orders for standard Flo.Point product from two EnCana Divisions. Deliveries and installations are planned for this Quarter. Further orders are pending. Flo.Point's unique features address EnCana applications at several of its oil properties. ESI's engineering staff is also working on specific enhancements to Flo.Point which will address additional opportunities with this client.
