RE: E.coli approval updateOption:
Here is my problem with BNC and their E.coli stance:
1. Since 2001, Graeme McRae has been saying commercialization is "within a year" to anyone who will listen including publically on ROBTV. Perhaps it is not his fault that it is not approved but he should have known about regulator uncertainty prior to giving such estimates. To his credit, it seems that he has now stopped giving estimates (but he still seems to have not gotten the message that calling Health Canada "fools" is not very diplomatic and unlikely to garner any special considerations).
2. You have recent posts where you say that "Jennifer" has indicated the requested data has already been obtained and sent to the USDA. The most recent conference call clearly indicated that the data has not yet been obtained and will likely take till the end of summer at least. I don't understand why BNC told you something that was not true. Are they telling untruths about other things? Or was it you who was not accurate in your post?
3. If the E.coli vaccine is really such an amazing drug that is going to make a huge difference, why are agencies so concerned about accidental injections (Health Canada) or whether or not it is really efficacious (USDA)? If agencies were really convinced that it works and is needed, these issues could have been dealt with in post-approval monitoring studies and other management tools. Something smells fishy to me (but I hope I am wrong).
4. I am pretty sure your posts from last summer, absolutely guaranteed approval by now but I could be wrong (don't really care to go back through old posts to check). So, now it is unlikely to be submitted until the fall of this year (at the absolute earliest)with approval who knows when. And that is the best case scenario.
I still hold shares in BNC due to their other programs but unlike you, I think E.coli vaccine approval is far from a certainty as is getting incredibly rich as you suggest. Just trying to give some perspective and no disprespect intended.
