RE: Truth to be seen!I agree with your points except for the consolidation and new financing. In theory, consolidation is neutral but in practice, the price drops as it is a sign that management feels that the only way to increase the stock price in the near-term is not through company growth but through accounting practices. The number of outstanding shares is troublesome but share consolidation is an even worse death knell. Top it off with more dilution through new financing after a consolidation will blow off the top of most shareholders. Most of us are in because we beleive in the short and long-term fundamental growth prospects of UBS. Any hint of consolidation will mean a derailment in the stock price as all the momentum and speculative players leave and some long-term holders will start wavering. For a stock to do well, we need 2 of the 3 above-mentioned types of players involved.
