RedStar Oil & Gas Inc. Announces Shareholder Approval of Amendment to Articles 09:30 EDT Thursday, May 25, 2006 CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - May 25, 2006) - RedStar Oil & Gas Inc. ("RedStar" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:RED) (TSX VENTURE:RED.NV) is pleased to announce today that the special resolution to change the Company's non-voting shares to common shares on a 1 for 1 basis was approved by over 90% of the votes cast by holders of common shares and over 99% of the votes cast by holders of non-voting shares at the shareholder meeting held on May 24, 2006. Articles of amendment have been filed. RedStar currently has 35,770,565 common shares issued and outstanding including the converting non-voting shares.
