Another interesting read...

Another interesting read...From McCallan site: The feasibility study suggests huge success Based on the results of the exploration programs undertaken over the last 15 years which led to a Feasibility Study, a reservoir of gas in place in the amount of appr. 30 Billion Cubic Meters or appr. 1 TCF is available in the so-called Gob Gas areas (explanation on Gob-Gas see below). This volume represents appr. 1/3 of the annual gas consumption of Germany or Japan ! Independent reports (incl. US Government agencies) talk about additional Methane Gas reserves of up to 6 TCF (appr. 180 Billion Cubic Meters) in deeper coal seems within the concession area. Due to the easy delivery arrangements of methane gas in comparison to natural gas, the marketing in this area can be started within a very short time. The availability of a very dense net of pipelines in the highly industrialized area of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin would make it easy to market and transport gas from the concession area to end consumers.
