RE: your thoughts...sasLink2....I am sure you know this is CAT board and not SAS. You should look for info from SAS people. But.......
I owned some St Andrews a few years ago. So, here is my view. I had high hopes for it and it was one of the very few tiny explorers I owned. If I remember, they were planning to start production in late 2005.Thihs was one of the big news stories, that they would actually go to a producer from an explorer and do something like 150,000 oz in first year, which is alot. Is hard to remember, but I think Goldcorp owned a few shares also. As time went on, they delayed and were set back many times with increasing costs and stock kept getting diluted. If I recall correctly, I spoke to Rob McEwen about SAS, as I was a Goldcorp shareholder, and he thought it had too many S/O and had no further interest in it. I sold back in 2004 I think. Looking at it now, they finally have production started, but the amount of shares outstanding is way way too many. Reminds me of those small companies like TVI which shareholders are just kidding themselves about. Just because the share price is low doesn't mean it is undervalued. Bad things can happen when you have shares floating around like confetti. There are lots of small juniors with cash flow and low share floats...just have to do your own DD and try to buy on corrections. MHO only
