ARU vs PLE ... My DD agrees with tthe fact that they are about 100 - 125 miles apart... so what?
Take a look at this power point presentation created by Peru's Ministry of mines ... slide 25 shows a map of Peru containing the mineral Belt. the whole presentation gives some insight on mining in Peru in general and how many mines there are.
Bolsa Del Diablo is right on the ecuador border to the north in the dark green area (Lancones Basin au-zn-cu) and ARU is on the ecuador side oposite the Teal coloured area (Northern Peru Cu-Au porphyry Belt)
two separate geological areas yet both part of "THE MINERAL BELT" (assuming it continues north into ecuador
now here's some other observations ...
1.) PLE samples also showed high grades of silver but no zinc. It is possible that zinc is present but was not assayed for.
2.) Both ARU and PLE seem to be in different "zones"
3.) There's lots of other gold deposits in the area (Yanacocha comes to mind)
4.) It's way too soon to know if PLE has a similar geology to ARU. Both are relatively new and unexplored areas as far as I know so PLE could be as good or better then ARU, but there's no way of knowing.
We do know that on Surface PLE is showing huge promise but the ONLY way we will know how much promise is by drilling. BAR NONE!!
IMHO GLTA YMMV TTFN GLAP HASBOM!!
