A story
A story
Once upon a time in the late 1990s early 2000 there were lots of companies that were like a locked safe or a vault. All anyone really new about the vault was what management told them, they said all kinds of wonderful things about there vaults. As investors we couldn’t wait to give them our money. Stories were told of all the precious items, good works and the very future was in the vault, everything was going to multiply exponentially. As our eyes got bigger, we gave them more of our money.
One day some of the investors got together and told management they wanted to see what was in the vault, so they forced management to show them. As the vault door opened to the shock of the investors not much of any thing was there. The investors were angry and wanted to know were the money went (sometimes billions of dollars) all management could come up with is half the money went into building the vault and the other half went into making sure the vault never opened.
Moral of the story is, always know what’s in the vault.
