RE: Shaft10017 captain of doublespeak

RE: Shaft10017 captain of doublespeakCluttering ? I was responding to a message that was equally as irrelevant to the prospects of this company and others like it. In fact it was the reluctance to build nuclear power plants in the US that created the opportunity for a company like STM to capitalize on now. The US was happy to indulge the environmental lobby and the Sierra club and not build nuclear energy plants ... after all, oil was plentiful and cheap, there was no need to take the risk of having a Three Mile Island or Chernobyl in ones' backyard. Uranium prices were surpressed due to oversupply of the mineral that wasn't being absorbed. Mining in uranium lapsed. Its interesting that the nuclear power is a great way to help reduce fossil fuel emissions. I just wish STM would start to realize its potential. It will happen when the market shakes off its current slump. Cheers
