Big SurpriseLooks like quite a few people who had visons of retirement in mind got a bit of a shock today. The market did not like this news in the least, looks like a 10% haircut is likely the result. Companies that aquire a new property and accompany it with hype (halt the stock)while awaiting drill results often get bitten in the a$$ for it. What it does create is volume. Next question is who is doing all the selling into this? In the end a lot of amateurs get stung holding the bag, while insiders move on with your money. I was poised to buy this morning but it bacame apparent with in minutes of the open what was happening. Games on the Vulture can be cruel.
Am I bashing the stock? Absolutely not. Why bash a stock which has offered many a good opportunity to make some tidy profits. I am just not one of them that made profits. Good luck to those of you who did.
