RE: Yurdon/Called ARU regarding propertyI respect your thoughts, however, this model can be applied to ANY exploration or mining Co. out there; why did PLE not get more adjacent property if Bosa is so hot? Why does Goldcorp not own ALL of Red lake?
The realities on the ground dictate what can and can't be acquired - competition, financing, private ownership, bureaucracy, etc. ARU has over 900 square kilometeres of prevoiusly unexplored property - at what point can one say they should have gotten more? Oh yeah, right after the pull a hot drill core.
Explorers go in blind at considerable cost and high risk under the auspices of Hope; they really hope the massive property they just bought has something on it. When they get lucky and strike it rich, the shareholders are quick to scream that they should have gotten more land?
PLE made a smart play, was exceptionally luck in that they had an 'in' with the wealthy family holding properties adjacent. Ask yourself, would they have done the same thing had ARU not pulled those results? Would ARU theoritically seek to acquire more land at more cost even if they had no results on the properiy they hold? Did they have the ability to run out and buy all the property adjacent the day they pulled the cores?
Not likely, but JMHO
Cheers!
