Example:
Initially purchase 10 shares each at $1 = $10
Sell the 10 shares at $2/share = $20
Share price drops back down to $1.50/share
Repurchase 13.333 shares for your $20
Therefore the average cost to the investor
= $10/13.333 shares = $0.75 per share
Basically Bigjockstrap is comparing his average cost against his original investment (accumulating more shares against his original investment).
I believe CAX has never been below $0.42 per share.
