interesting post from ARU site

interesting post from ARU siteNote the portion I "bolded" and "underlined". re: Goldwatch's extreme negativity - everybody keep in mind that yesterday he posted he was out of PLE; obviously he wants to replenish his position. SUBJECT: Very good news! Posted By: Gaurelian Post Time: 7/6/2006 23:18 Fellow travelers. Do not doubt it. This is good news. A few points to consider: - the visuals have extended the proven portion of the deposit north to hole 65 - now 600m! So far visuals have correlated to exceptional gold numbers with decent silver. So we continue north and closer to the surface. Bigger and more economic for startup. - the fear that the E-W orientation of the river was running along a fault that would offset the north end of the system has been blown away. Supports that we continue to be open to the north. - hole 61 has hit a sinter. This represents the top of epithermal mineralization. Often compared to the "crust" that forms on top of the "golden bread". This is a very good vote for the system to extend to the west. Note the presence of the sinter in hole 50 and eroded in hole 51. The conglomerate which overlies the mineralization is a sedimentary deposit - associated with fast moving water. So a small amount of the deposit is eroded by this fast moving water - but most of it is intact - as evidenced by the non-erosion of most of the sinter. The June 6th release said the conglomerate is "post mineralization" - VERY IMPORTANT!!!!. The fact that it thickens accross the fault is the result of things that happened after the mineralization was put in place. This means that the major fault referred to in hole 59 is post mineralization. The sinter is the datum that marks the top of where the hytrothermal waters boiled off and left their precious cargo below. What the heck does all this mean. The fault happened later. The rocks to the west of the fault were at the same level when the gold was getting dumped - and part of the same system. We're going to get a lot bigger! Sorry if I rambled but I just got off a long flight and am tres tired! Live long!
