barabing

barabingUnfortunately, like the deal, proving there is a side deal would be next to impossible. The only proof we have is the action of the stock. My comment regarding any idiot should be able to get the funding rests in my view of potential of the concessions which have some very good documentation as you well know. Considering the energy boom that has been going on and will no doubt continue, I don't think it's unreasonable to view the past 5 months performance by managment less than spectacular. If you go to the McCallan web site they clearly state that McCallan has a responsibility to fund the development of the concessions in order to attain the 51% interest by the end of 2007. They, McCallan also state on their web site that they will be drilling in the first half of 2006. So expectations have been unmet by many in this deal. I have stated clearly that I am not in the deal because of this managment group. Yes, give them credit that through through Ed's past business relationships the deal has come to Regent. After that, it's hard to give them credit for anything. Now if I was just in the deal to trade, sure, I would be saying these guys are great. Who cares about whether the deal is going to get done or not. I'm making money because they pumped the stock. But that's not why I got in, or stayed, and those reasons are now in question because of the status of AAA. So, while I can accept your point of view and disagree with you on others, my intent is to keep digging and hold their feet to the fire as much as possible. I know you are not a pumper and have never said that. I have no problem with being positive about the upside of the deal but the other side of that coin is being honest about what has taken place to date. We are both just shareholders and I wish you the best in this deal and hope we see $10 or even more. Then we'd all be great guys, right.
