Timing of New Release
Timing of New ReleaseNo matter what the outcome of the financing, I would not expect a new release to occur until August 15th-16th. Why you may ask and I am not necessarily discounting the manipulative scenarios.
The reason is that the two private placements that have been announced have not yet closed. Plus, we do not have approval on the second 22.5%. As I understand the exchange procedures, if the stock price closes plus or minus 20% from the private placement number,in this case .25; the exchange will NOT approve the deal and Regents would need to re-submit.
Announcing the financing would certainly cause the stock to increase more than 20%. The last PP one was done this last Friday at .25 and 10 days from this last Friday is August 11th but that is a Friday and so I pushed the announcement into the next week, August 15th-16th. I would also expect the market makers to keep the stock price from closing above .30 or below .20 during the next 10 days.
I expect that the Polish government requirement time has been met and the financing has been secured. I see no sell off and instead see two private placements at .25. Since the oil deal financing is the key to Regent's current stock price, the buyers of these private placements have certainly SEEN the evidence of the financing unless they are terminally stupid.
I would expect trading sideways for 10 days, some manipulation, then multiple announcements.
