update on ship-via emailDear Mr. Kloster,
Bernard is travelling for a couple of days and in the mean time, I
received a copy of your email and wished to answer your questions.
The vessel is effectively in Namibia and busy carrying some surveys on
concession that are situated between the port of Walvis Bay and the
Block J. We agreed with the contractor that it was more cost efficient
for them to carry these survyes first instead of having their vessel
going back and forth. The vessel should arrived in the area of Block J
between mid-September and the end of September, when it will begin the
work on Block J. In the mean time we are working with the contractor in
order to finalize the preparation of the program. The program is now
well define and we are busy with fine tunning of some details, such as
defining accurately the core-sampling targets and some survey coverage
covering the surrounding area of the deposits to be surveyed and
sampled. We also have to get many permits, such as Namibian work
permits for our on Board representatives, environmenal contracts,
permit to remove minerals from the sea bed and many others. These
permits are requested by the conditions of the exploration license we
have on the concession and they are only issued for the period of the
program, so we must get these permits at each new program. This is part
of the preparation and it is normal buraucratic rules and procedures.
Bt the rules, we will issue a press release to informed our
shareholdedrs of the final details and schedule of the program as soon
as it is completed but certainly before the beginning of the work
program.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact
Bernard or myself.
Kind regards
Pierre Leveille
