RE: Just some thoughts(cautious36)

RE: Just some thoughts(cautious36)I like to see investment firms such as PI, Blackmont, Wolverton, etc. buying into a stock - if done in sufficient quantity it sometimes is the precursor to a good NR. At the very least when well regarded investment firms begin to take a larger position it also means they will be backing the investment. I do keep an eye on who is increasing/decreasing their position to help me know when to get in or out. It's not the only criteria but it does help me sometimes. Is it always a correct indicator of share price - no - but it is more an indication of potential stability in the stock. Of course when these same firms bail big time, sometimes so will I. It depends on what else I feel is going on. Maybe my logic is flawed but if you look for large amounts of transactions in and out of the smaller investment houses you may see the same pattern I'm seeing. Cheers RW
