The Matter of ChoicesConcerning Hate, Freedom of Speech and Eating Rice
Most will hate:
Turning a winner (opportunity) into a loser
Misinformation
Unfounded speculation
Unscrupulous generalization
Steadfast arrogance
Being wrong and persist
Let not the wise and just ideas be stifled by the powerful - for that we rally behind the principle of Freedom of Speech. But few would agree it is a good thing to have wrong, uninformed, and cantankerous statements overrunning a community. Good things get buried or drown out in a sea of garbage created by that particular poster's selfishness in attempting to influence the stock to go up or down depending on his/her position at that time. They could even be poisons if anyone has, however lightly, been influenced in making some critical decisions.
Anyone who thinks the noble principle ought to be defended and counter points are healthy in debates and discussions, please think - those are biased points serving only his/her narrow self-interest. There are speeches that don't deserve defending.
As things go unfortunately, ignorance seems to have brought out more ignorance. There were the candle predictions, then came the "Chinese or Vietnamese" speculation, and recently the "rice eater" implications.
Japan and Singapore hold the distinction of having the highest life expectancy (save the 2 tiny nations with combined population of a typical small town). They are also high performers economically. They all eat rice as a main staple and that seems neither harmful to health nor hurtful to wealth.
In times long past, rice eating was privileged to those living in high rainfall regions. Nowadays, it is just a matter of choice.
Whether you are rice, bread or pasta eaters, there are two ways of consuming grains and their products. One is eating the whole grain as it comes naturally and the other is eating only the calorie rich part after getting rid of the nourishing and healing* components. One is healthful, the other is not, and the choice is yours.
Many more others that are for one’s mere choosing, and not determined or limited by what they were born with or the grain involved later in life. Those who appear here are all gifted with enough intelligence to make basic sound judgment in many things. Unfortunately when ego and vanity pursuits loom larger than appropriate, vision, rationality and everything related to civility and decency are all thrown to the back seat.
More about choices:
1. To continue failure or learn to change and improve.
2. To make informative or inquisitive posts or creating roadblocks for others seeking information.
3. To place honest, trustworthy materials in your post or uninformed, inaccurate, misleading trash that may harm others and ultimately discredit yourself.
4. To be a civil, analytical and productive participant or an insult and threat wielding warrior.
5. To post or not to post.
I appreciate your patience and perseverance to this point.
Thanks heartily,
Good Health and good Wealth!
