RE: Reality Check - a few pointsArequipa went on to have about: 7 million ounces of gold.
You think ARU only has about: 5 million ounces right now.
These are most of the drill results that led to AQP being bought out for one billion back in the 1990's:
107 metres @ 5.98 g/t gold
48 metres @ 2.69 g/t gold
16 metres @ 0.44 g/t gold
23 metres @ 1.49 g/t gold
52 metres @ 4.3 g/t gold
56 metres @ 2.12 g/t gold and 58 g/t silver
88 metres @ 2.02 g/t gold
43 metres @ 7.50 g/t gold and 184 g/t silver
88 metres @ 6.58 g/t gold and 130 g/t silver
144 metres @ 6.82 g/t gold and 173 g/t silver
ARU's second last hole (hole 62) 191.6 metres @ 7.43 g/t gold, was ordinary compared to the more outstanding prior holes,( hole 57: 189 metres @ 24 g/t gold and hole 58: 255 metres @ 12.55 g/t gold). However , it still blows out of the water, Arequipa's most impressive holes.
So, the question is: If Arequipa had 7 million ounces, with these results, how in heck do you come up with 5 million ounces for ARU, when ARU's drill results are exponentially greater than Arequipa's?
The market keeps pushing this stock higher and one has to respect the power of the market.
Having said all that, I still do appreciate a contrarian opinion, as I can definitely get carried away like the next guy, with high expectations for a stock like this.
