Hi stockmyster Just check out Mart Resources if you want to know what can happen when you go out and try to buy your own rig. I have also been in the oil industry for over 30 years on the drilling side and it is a lot easier said than done. It has taken Mart over a year to get their first of 3 rigs to Nigeria and should start drilling next week according to the rumor. Mart IMO also has a lot more drilling planned than CAX plus better leverage to turn their ownership of some rigs into more deals in the Nigerian Marginal Field Development Program. IMO CAX has it hands full enough just running the oil company side of things let alone becoming a drilling contractor no matter how appealling it may sound. Remember how long it has taken the contractor to get the barge ready to drill El Biban and they are already in the contractor business. I am down big time on this stock but still long as I bought in only after I heard that Chaal had 90 meters of net pay which had keyed off a historic well which had flowed 3 mmcfpd. While we wait for the drilling to start I am hoping for news on a new deal. Regards
